event Speaking
Age only matters if you are a cheese...
Peta has been public speaking since 2005 when she first hit New Zealand screens with her television series, Taste New Zealand. She has written numerous food/travel and social commentary books and contributed to many recipe books. She loves telling tall stories, ironing out the agonising problems of your life, sautéing up a storm and singing of lost love. Peta hosts international culinary tours to exotic destinations every year.
She is an in-demand MC and speaker who regales her audiences with uncensored tales of her escapades and adventures, cooking tips, her philosophy on ageing and 'it ain't over till it's over' attitude. Peta talks about life's opportunities and how you have to keep contributing, learning and laughing. She is a wickedly funny presenter with a joie de vivre that lets the sunshine in! And she’s more than likely to burst into song.
Peta’s cooking classes centre around Southern French cuisine which is drenched in sunshine and olive oil. In your hands-on class, you’ll learn dishes like saussoun (anchovy, mint and almond paste), grande aioli, slow roasted tomato tart, pissaladière (onion, anchovy and black olive tart), strawberries in Pastis and pepper and chocolate and almond cake. Delicious.
Peta is currently available for cooking classes, speaking and MC engagements in NZ. Contact Peta directly to discuss your next event.
